What information we collect?
We collect two types of data and information from Users.
The first type of information is non-identifiable or aggregated information relating to users of the Site (“Non-personal Information”). The Site is hosted and supported by third-party provider IONOS, which may automatically collect certain technical, usage, and device-related information in connection with the operation, security, maintenance, and improvement of the Site. This information may include, for example, IP address information, approximate location information, browser and operating system information, device type, language preferences, access times, referring pages, pages viewed, clicks, and other information about how visitors interact with the Site. The specific information collected may vary based on IONOS’s technologies, services, and practices in effect from time to time. We generally do not use this information to directly identify individual visitors.
The second type of information
Personal Information which is individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable effort identify an individual. Such information includes:
- Personal Data: If a submission is provided via any contact form or email address linked on this site, we collect the email address, name of business and/or name of contact person, and contact number (if provided), as well as the request or subject of your query.
- Should a contract result from our contact, any other information saved is subject to the rights and regulations as stipulated in our Terms of Service.
How do we receive information about you?
We receive Personal Information primarily when you voluntarily provide it to us through the Site, including when you:
- submit a contact form to request a demonstration, quote, additional information, or other assistance;
- report a security, accessibility, confidentiality, or other concern;
- contact us through a form that opens your default email application so that you may send us an email; or
- otherwise choose to provide information to us through the Site.
Depending on the feature you use, certain third-party services may also process information in connection with your interaction with the Site. For example, we use CAPTCHA technology to help verify that form submissions are made by a person, a Google Maps widget is available on our Contact Us page, and social-sharing features may allow you to share Site content through third-party social media platforms. These third parties may collect or process information in accordance with their own privacy practices.
- Our website provider may also automatically collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or improve the Site. We do not currently use a separate third-party analytics platform for our own analytics purposes beyond functionality provided by the website platform.
How is the information used? With whom do we share the information?
We do not rent, sell, or share Users’ information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may use the information for the following:
- Communicating with you – sending you notices regarding our services, providing you with technical information and responding to any customer service issue you may have;
- To communicate with you and to keep you informed of our latest updates and services;
- Conducting statistical and analytical purposes, intended to improve the Site.
In addition to the different uses listed above, we may transfer or disclose Personal Information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies and subcontractors.
In addition to the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy, we may share Personal Information with our trusted third party providers, who may be located in different jurisdictions across the world, for any of the following purposes:
- Hosting and operating our Site;
- Providing you with our services, including providing a personalized display of our Site;
- Storing and processing such information on this site on our behalf;
- Performing research, technical diagnostics or analytics;
We may also disclose information if we have good faith to believe that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our policies (including our Agreement), including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) investigate, detect, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities or other wrongdoing, suspected fraud or security issues; (iv) to establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims; (v) prevent harm to the rights, property or safety of us, our users, yourself or any third party; or (vi) for the purpose of collaborating with law enforcement agencies and/or in case we find it necessary in order to enforce intellectual property or other legal rights.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary or helpful for the operation, functionality, security, and display of our Site. These technologies may support features such as page navigation, image display, embedded content, form functionality, user preferences, and other website features.
A “cookie” is a small piece of information that a website stores on your device while you are viewing or using the website. Some cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser, while others may remain on your device for a longer period depending on their purpose and your browser settings.
Our Site is hosted and supported by IONOS and may use cookies or similar technologies provided or managed by IONOS in connection with the operation and functionality of the Site. The specific cookies and technologies used may vary over time as IONOS updates its website platform, services, features, and technical requirements.
Certain third-party features or widgets available through the Site, such as CAPTCHA services, maps, embedded content, or social-sharing tools, may also use cookies or similar technologies. These third parties may collect or process information in accordance with their own privacy practices.
We do not currently use cookies for our own targeted advertising or behavioral advertising purposes, and we do not currently use a separate third-party analytics platform beyond functionality that may be provided automatically by our website platform.
You may be able to manage or disable cookies through your browser or device settings. However, because some cookies and similar technologies support the proper operation and display of the Site, disabling them may cause certain pages, images, forms, widgets, or other Site features to display incorrectly or not function as intended.
Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts ( https://www.google.com/webfonts ) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.
Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible - but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy .
Third party collection of information
Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent you disclose your information to other parties or sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each third party that you choose to disclose information to.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals whom we do not employ or manage, including any of the third parties which we may disclose information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
How do we safeguard your information?
We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information. In accordance with Goldschmitt's ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and CMMC Level 2 certified, and CMMI Level 3 appraised processes and procedures for both Services and Development, we employ industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of the information we collect and retain, and prevent unauthorized use of any such information, and we require any third party to comply with similar security requirements, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Although we take reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for the acts of those who gain unauthorized access or abuse our Site, and we make no warranty, express, implied or otherwise, that we will prevent such access.
Marketing
We may use the Personal Information you provide to respond to and follow up on your inquiry or request. This may include responding to questions, providing information about our services, scheduling demonstrations, preparing quotes, addressing reported security, accessibility, confidentiality, or service-related concerns, or communicating regarding potential business opportunities or partnerships.
We do not currently use information submitted through the Site to enroll individuals in automated marketing email campaigns or general promotional mailing lists.
Minors
We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at admin@timeguardsolutions.com.
